Saying Ozzy is playing with members of Metallica on his new album is almost like false advertisement, after all Robert Trujillo played with Ozzy before, I can see if it was Kirk Hammet, James Hatfield or Lars Ulrich.
Any new news on the Ozzy album, I'm hoping we can keep in touch on this thread for any of the latest news on the development of the album.

Ozzy Osbourne has 15 songs for his next album: "We're getting there" Don't know of this was posted already. Sorry if it was.
My ratings of the Ozzy albums have now changed, Blizzard Diary Speak of The Devil Bark At the Moon Down To Earth (Fantastic album) The Ultimate Sin No More Tears No Rest For The Wicked Undercover Black Rain Scream Ordinary Man
I’d go Diary of a Madman Bark at the Moon Blizzard of Ozz The Ultimate Sin Speak of The Devil No More Tears No Rest For The Wicked Tribute Scream - tour edition Ozzmosis Just Say Ozzy Down To Earth Black Rain - tour edition Live and Loud Undercover Ordinary Man Live at Budokan
I rate Diary of a Madman higher, and I stopped listening to Ozzy after Down to Earth. Every Metal artist is artistically „burnt out“ after a few great albums… AC/DC, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica etc.
I really hope Ozzy can get it together for this new LP. The last two solo albums were extremely disappointing IMO.
Love all his solo albums uptil and including Down to Earth. The ones after that one are fine too, but not 5/5 efforts. Will buy this new one. I always buy a new Ozzy album.
He really should have given a synthetic chance to Gus G. His Firewind material (although on a different genre) is very nice.
Was with him right from the start of his solo ventures. The Randy Rhodes stuff is glorious. I really like Miracle Man and Crazy Babies off NRFTW and am a fan of the Black Rain album. I look forward to one last hurrah from the Prince Of Darkness.
I didn’t list all the live albums, just Speak Of The Devil, cause it has a special place in my heart, that’s the album that turned me onto Sabbath. Great ranking Curveboy
I would have to disagree here. From Down to Earth up to his latest, Ozzy's albums sound like modern metal or what I like to call Hot Topic metal. Just a preference. All his 80's and 90's albums have that classic metal sound that I love so much. Ozzy's not the only one who suffered from this. Judas Priest post-Painkiller and Dio after 1992 also fell victim to this nodern sound/production.
Since we were doing ratings: Diary of a Madman Blizzard of Ozz No More Tears Bark at the Moon No Rest for the Wicked The Ultimate Sin (first two are really a 1 and 1a) don’t care enough about any of the studio albums after TUS to rate them but I don’t actively dislike any of them other than last year’s atrocity and Scream. And it’s best to just ignore the covers album entirely.
I suck at ranking best to worst for any artist's discographies. But I'm a little surprised that many Ozzy fans rate Ordinary Man so far down. I thought it was his best album since No More Tears. To each their own and all that.
I can’t listen to anything after Ozzmosis, I’ve tried multiple times. I used to be a huge fan as a teenager before Sabbath had their big reassurance in the 90’s.
I must be one of the odd ones. I rarely listen to the first 3 records, not a big fan of his 80s sound. My favorites is No More Tears, Ozzmosis, Down To Earth, Black Rain and Scream. And Ordinary Man is great as well, but I have not listened to it so much. In my opinion, Ozzy is just getting better and better!
