I believe I saw that footage in A Talent For Loving, probably the best Beatles movie IMO.

What is your feeling of Bowie’s version of “My Mummy’s Dead” with John on guitar?

Was David’s hair orange enough ?

 

Egypt Station, but I have no illusions that he'll ever do it.

Red Rose Speedway was the culmination of McCartney's University Tours. The discarded tracks that would have been included in the double album could also be added.

 

Plastic Ono Band

 

Take over small, intimate theatre and recreate end of Fabs/start of solo career by playing McCartney and associated songs from around that period, like Back Seat Of My Car, Another Day, etc. Bit of chat too, something like Bruce on Broadway. Oh, and make sure I get a ticket.

 

If he was ever going to do this, there's no way it would not be Band On the Run.

 

His fans have no nostalgia for that album. Maybe in 20 years.

 

He will do that when day is night and night becomes the day, when the trees and seas just up and fly away, when 8 times 8 times 8 is 4, on the day that is the day that is no more.

 

I'd love to hear Paul sing "God".
