I did a quick search of this thread, but didn't find anything (not surprising given the size). In listening closely on headphones this weekend, I noticed a slight glitch (digital or otherwise) on the 12" mix of "Figure of Eight" at the 2:34 point on the word "figure". This is from disc 4 track 6. Can anyone else confirm that they hear this as well? Thanks.
I hear it too, but I also hear it on the original CD single. It can also be heard in the short version of the song (at 2:14) on the other CD single.
Sounds like they used the same digital files for all of these and because they never caught, never fixed it.
Maybe not from the production stand point but I’ve always felt from a writing stand point for Paul, it largely was.
Sadly I no longer have it so can’t comment on the 12 inch version. I had all the b-sides on either vinyl or CD and there was a lot that didn’t make it up from my move from Los Angeles to San Francisco. So I can’t comment on it. I didn’t hear it before until it was pointed out here.
It's on both the regular Figure Of Eight CD single, and the 3 inch "Special Collectors CD". Never noticed this before, to be honest I'm still getting to grips with the glitch on Magneto & Titanium Man, so this is a real emotional setback for me!
Super minor tape drop out. No big deal. If you listen to Jet closely, you’ll hear all kinds of glitchy popping sounds in the song except for the 1993 CD wherein they were digitally cleaned up. If you listen to With A Little Luck, there is a buzzer-like glitch in the song, in every single version. The glitch is audible at 1:14 in the video below. None of this bothers me.

What is the glitch? The only version of the Archive Collection remaster I’ve listened to is the hi-res unlimited file.
That should not have the glitch. Listen to it and see. I don't know. I never decided to seek out the glitch, as I have the glitch-free one.
2 minutes 45 seconds, it very briefly skips through the word "forces", as though several hundredths of a second have been cut out. Once you know it's there, it's very much there....
