not that I can recall, and for the record, I am not claiming that this would be on a potential FP boxed set. Just stating that I found this particular interview one of Paul’s more entertaining ones

yes, I was only thinking if due to copyright issue was possible to put those interviews on the Archives... I don't think so... but who knows... we will see...

 

almost all real Macca fan has it on DVD... ;-)

I wonder if we will be getting a handful of songs Paul demoed in the early/mid 90s that we've never heard of....Seems like his MO for Flaming Pie was looking back on the last few years and drawing songs from what he had, piecing those together with some a few jams with Lynne and Miller that came together. Maybe there was a pretty big batch he was drawing from and there's 5-6 tracks left?

 

1997 was a great TV year for Paul. Lots of specials, appearances, interviews,..

 

Does the "Meet Paul McCartney" excerpt included on the McCartney II Boxset count as a TV interview? Or was it a special from MPL? I don´t know for sure.

Wow, I wish it was Blu-ray instead otherwise, 5 CD's-wow.....maybe a disc of Ooobu Joobu?

 

I wonder if the 5 CDs will simply be the following:

1. Flaming Pie (1997)
2. Flaming Pie bonus tracks, outtakes, alt. mixes (1997)
3. Standing Stone (1997)
4. Rushes (1998)
5. Working Classical (1999)

 

I can't fathom how they get to five CDs for FP, but your scenario seems highly unlikely, IMO.

Yeah and while personally not a fan of Oprah, he also busked a little of Lady Madonna for Oprah.....I still have this recorded on a VHS tape somewhere lol
