Yes, though my point is that the release of the remaster in 2011 did not prevent the release of the box set 6 years later.

 

Interesting to note that the latest 2017 release (of the 2010 remaster) on Capitol of Band On The Run appears to be out of print on both Amazon UK and HMV.com

50th anniversary preparations, perhaps...

 

I'm sure there will be half masters of the two 73 albums next year.. but seeing as Band on The Run was such a huge hit, wouldn't be shocked if there was a little more but I doubt there will be.

 

I'm thinking double disc release: CD + Quad/5.1 mix DVD.
There was an official quad mix at one point, and it's about the only version that hasn't seen re-release.
