Two of the 6 things that you want feature topless/nude women. And one features sheep... I guess that you have to settle with what you can get ... Hmmm...
And if he can't always get what he wants, he can try some time, and he just might find … he gets some sheep!
Interesting that you are now the second person who posted here that it didn't have the poster. This is odd. The one I got was the exact CD one. I remember thinking how cheap that the vinyl art was so big and nice and it had that little folded up CD insert which was so tiny. Anyone else here have the vinyl and can say if they got a poster or no?
The "official link" provides ordering info for vinyl ONLY --- colored or black: Linda McCartney - Wide Prairie So I'm not sure about a CD version...
It also says: Wide Prairie will be available on limited edition white and blue coloured vinyl and black vinyl, as well as digitally and on streaming services. So, whether or not that means CD remains to be seen, but it seems unlikely, as no vendors have a 2019 CD up for sale. Linda McCartney’s ‘Wide Prairie’ Compilation For Multi-Format Reissue Also, on that same website, it says: All pre-orders will receive ‘The Light Comes from Within’ as an instant grat track. Has anybody else received this download? I pre-ordered the colored vinyl from Paul's website and have gotten nothing.
Yes mine has the poster with it from when I got it. Didn't he do the same for one of the classical sets - Oratorio or Standing Stone? I'm sure my vinyl of one of those just has the CD booklet in it? Although I may be mis-remembering
I was listening to Breakfast with the Beatles with Chris Carter this morning on Sirius XM, and Paul called in for his birthday special to chat with Chris. Chris complimented Paul on the Red Rose Speedway and Wild Life sets, and Paul briefly mentioned that he was chatting with his team the other day while they working on some remasters, commenting on how creative they are with ideas for these box sets. Chalk this up to a confirmation of this series continuing.
Should have been quizzed on variable RRS double album volume levels and also Love Is Strange remaster glitch. Wonder if he actually knows about this?
Would have been a good time for Paul to drop a hint on the Abbey Road box too, like he did last year in an interview for the White Album. But looking forward to more Archive sets!
Glitch? Heck, they never even fixed the muddy, murky mix of that album. The outtakes he released showed just how amazing the album could've sounded if remixed.
