My amazon order says i will receive color bundle by friday at 8pm
But there is no shipping information, and no information suggesting bundle will be shipped.
My order through mccartney's website simply says "logistics"
Haven't heard anything from them since i placed the order
In other words, i need a backup for my backup im afraid.

 

I just received Wings Greatest on black vinyl from amazon Germany. Anyone else having trouble with the download link?

I ordered Wings Gretest blue vinyl an Thrillington black and red marble vinyl from Bull Moose last night and is on the way. $29 each

 

Is there still no confirmation on the status of the insert card? Archive announcements?

 

I have all 4 color vinyl. No announcement cards, they are all standard non gatefold sleeves with inner sleeve and either poster or 2 sided insert as well as download card.

Now that the next batch of colored vinyl are on their way, hoping MPL can ready the next big announcement - either the new album or the next Archives for the summer!

 

One must assume that if there was one, it would have already been posted here, followed by much excitement and discussion!

 

Just received Thrillington from Bullmoose. I ordered the others a day later so hopefully they’ll be here tomorrow.

How is that possible when the description on the promo campaign said "fully restored artwork" ?

 

Someone at MPL has a problem understanding the true meaning of "fully" and "restored". Otherwise, they lived up to their end of the bargain ....

 

It must be the same guy that came up with the words "coming" and "soon"

 

Loophole: all the artwork is there it's just not quite the same.
The inserts are now small pictures on one 12x12 sheet. You're not missing anything it is just fully restored in a variant.

 

Why do you think that they skimped and did not release gatefolds for Chaos and New. Was it just to save 50 cents or whatever the amount of money it is?

Seems strange as they did release gatefolds for those albums that had them in the first batch of reissues, like Ram and Venus & Mars.

Is there any logic? Or is it just a cost-saving measure?

 

Sort of like the "fully restored" stone replicas of Stonehenge in the Spinal Tap film.

By changing the gatefolds, they’ve created new versions of the albums! Makes them more collectible!

Was it a gatefold originally? I've never seen a copy on vinyl before so I don't know....

 

Both Chaos and New were originally gatefolds. Neither are in these new releases.
