So, @Thrillington, how is @Embracetheday treating you so far? Good food and drink? Nice lodging? He didn’t mention which other members he ordered from Bullmoose, but presumably they’ll be arriving tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing all their stories here. Hope you guys all get along (I know RayS can be quite difficult, for example, and Glenn’s “senior care” would be daunting to most)...

Just received (from TheSoundofVinyl UK) Wings Greatest (blue), Thrillington (marbled) and Band On The Run (white - missed it first time around).
Chaos was OOS when I ordered, but I hope to catch up with that later on.

Note that BOTR had a Universal Italy silver sticker on it - so thats where the remaining stock is!

    Thrillington is not gatefold.

But thanks to Sound of Vinyl for getting them delivered on day of release, despite saying on their site that they would ship on the release date.

    Happy

    Was Thrillington originally a gatefold?

My local independent had no stock. HMV only had the previous reissues. Can’t really afford the full set at the moment, so might just pick up Chaos (and Thrillington of course) on black, as much as I’d like them in colour. I’d rather save my pennies for deluxe archive reissues!

And does the new reissue have this illustrated inner sleeve?

Any EU purchasers able to confirm matrix info for 'Chaos' or 'New', please? Especially keen to know if 'New' avoided being done by GZ this time.

I wonder if streaming services are going to replace the old 93 remaster of Wings Greatest with the new one? They havent yet.

I was notified by Amazon that my Chaos CD shipped yesterday, but the Greatest Hits CD that I ordered from them over a month ago still has not shipped. However both are still showing as "arriving by 8PM today". I ordered a blue vinyl copy of greatest hits from the McCartney web store, and it shipped yesterday. No estimate on arrival.

Coloured Thrillington is here. It's a good colour vinyl, and a nice sleeve.

Th download card is made to look like Percy Thrillington's business card on the reverse - a good touch.

I don't see MPL putting many of those early versions on… only two or three are that noticeably different that they wouldn't fit better on an Anthology of the solo/Linda years, such as the long version of "Good Times Coming/Feel The Sun" and the Paul-frontal demo for "Pretty Little Head."

For me, the ideal second disc would be: Once Upon A Long Ago (single version), Yvonne, Hanglide, Christian Bop, Love Come Tumbling Down, Squid, Atlantic Ocean, Don't Break The Promise, Big Day, Love Mix, Return To Pepperland, Same Love, I Love This House, Spies Like Us. "Lindiana" is held back for Give My Regards To Broadstreet, while "PS Love Me Do" goes to Choba B CCCP and "Beautiful Night"'s original version would go to Flaming Pie.

The third disc would have some of the "Spies Like Us" mixes, the original version and dub mix of "Press," the long version of "Good Times Coming/Feel The Sun," the remix of "Talk More Talk," the single mix of "It's Not True," the two single mixes of "Pretty Little Head," the remix of "Angry," the full version of "Tough On A Tigthrope," the single version of "Only Love Remains," and the extended version of "Once Upon A Long Ago" — which should easily fill a disc on their own. When you add in the live version of "Only Love Remains" it an get a bit overloaded.
