Just heard a really great cover of Pipes of Peace on the Holiday Rules 2 album (released a couple years ago). Not sure how I missed this the first time. But I think I like this version better than Paul's. By MUNA:

DONE! Not really a true mash-up, but slapping them up side by side does reveal just how close they are... Paul had been kicking Ring around for a long time, do you think it's possible George heard it and had another He's So Fine moment?

 

At least as far back as "One Hand Clapping"...

 

Regarding the demos we got on these two sets, are these what Paul provided to George Martin when starting work on Tug of War?

Isn't that Martha the Sheepdog that we see in a few shots?

I believe that she died later that year, in August.
