The chorus of Country Dreamer (you and I country dreamer....) and I Don’t Know (but it’s alright, sleep tight, I will take the strain) remind me a lot of each other in places. I Don’t Know why. Must be similar chords? I’m no musicologist here.... :p

Maybe I just need sleep. A lot of it.

    So... today's question:
Will there be a limited edition 7" single with Who Cares / Somebody Who Cares [remix by someone trendy] showing up on PM.com soon ??

Looks a tad too like Cirque du Soleil for one's liking.

Novelty item mainly. I'll play it once and have it on my shelf. Maybe I'll revisit it every now and then too.

Interesting. For me, "Happy With You" is the continuation of songs like Put It There, Mama's Little Girl and Mother Nature's Son...

I was wondering "does that mean the scalpers secondary ticket market resellers get all the free CDs?"

The honest scalpers distribute the free CDs to whomever they overcharge for tickets... ;)

Your appointment with Dr. Lorenz is on YouTube:

By the way...I like the instrumental version at the end (end credits)

Watch Emma Stone Get Tortured by Mimes in Paul McCartney's New Music Video

"It's hard to say whether diving into a hypnosis session like the one in Paul McCartney's latest music video would be a dream or nightmare come true. On the one hand, the video's star, Emma Stone, gets to run around a black-and-white 2-D wonderland with Sir Paul himself, but on the other, she's doing all that running in order to escape a pack of murderous mimes. Apparently, you can't have the good without the bad—which, according to McCartney himself, is basically the point of the whole video."

... and CD single / digital download, featuring the video edit/mix along with the credits instrumental sub-version and bonus track of Somebody Who Cares [extended remix by someone trendy].... :-popcorn:

But seriously, how much of this new audio content will end up on the Deluxe [and/or Luxury] version of Egypt Station? [I'm also going with at least one other version of Back In Brazil and another Ryan Tedder production, along with the 2 Target/HMV bonus tracks and maybe 2 or 3 live versions of album tracks...]

I thought it was a pretty cool music video. I love the colors. It's one of my favorites of his. :)

I'm very curious about this super deluxe. I speculated about it WAYYY back before there were even hints of such a thing, because it seemed like the writing was on the wall for it to happen. But I have no idea whether we're looking at a $100 set (kinda like the deluxe Electric Arguments) or something much pricier (~$350), like the reissued Concert For George or 1971-73 sets.

My personal vote would be for more previously unreleased studio recordings from the sessions, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's little of that and more ephemera (custom stickers for all of the songs; video bits like the James Corden thing and some live tracks). Our insider folks had already expected this to be announced last week and - unlike previous occasions - they weren't exactly bubbling with enthusiasm about the contents, which is somewhat disappointing in itself. Perhaps they don't know what's going to be on it, but they usually have some inkling, and they weren't hyping anything. It might even just gather some of the "rarities" that have already come and gone, like colored vinyl, the RSD single, the cassette and "concertina" cd, likely with a dvd, in some sort of collectible box and THAT would merit a big yawn, even from me! I hope I'm wrong, though.

@mikecarrera, care to tell us where to set our expectations?
