How about "Flaming Pie" out followed in the Fall by "London Town" and "Back To Egg" I think Paul needs to get all this stuff out while his target demographic is still alive! Drag it out over another 5 years? 1. Back To The Egg 2. London Town 3. Press To Play 4. Give My Regards To Broad Street Get them out now. Ok Boomer.
I seen this but there is also some with the flaming pie logo and blank backs. Was wondering which came in the CD.
I had exactly the same thought... Or was it a Best Buy exclusive with a bonus audiobook disc of Linda reciting Veggie Pie recipes..?
The only 2CD version I could find a record of online is a bootleg from 2005. Paul McCartney - Flaming Pie The Complete Works
I have a sneaking suspicion that Rushes is going to be included in Flaming Pie, just as Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest may be in Off The Ground: while the devoted McCartney fan knows about them, they aren't very well known beyond that — and it certainly doesn't help that Rushes was never released digitally when the rest of the albums were. Of the Fireman projects, only Electric Arguments is notable, and that's likely because it has clear singles that are playable in concert and able to be put on compilations like Pure McCartney. It also helps frame the LP as a bittersweet time in Paul's life: the project begins when he says good-bye to the Lumpy Trousers and hello to two old friends named George and Ringo. George Martin backs out of "Free As A Bird," citing hearing issues, so George invites his friend Jeff Lynne to run the sessions, and Paul gets Lynne to work on this LP. He also hangs out with old friend Steve Miller for some of the sessions, and has both George Martin and Ringo on this LP. James gets to play on the album too, and joins Paul for a rooftop performance of two songs. But then the album cannot be promoted with a tour because Linda is sick with cancer — the same disease that took Mo (who's death is the inspiration for "Little Willow"), and was taking Derek Taylor. Rushes is a side project they can do at home — while Standing Stone will be held separate as the next evolution of the McCartney classical oeuvre, inspired by Linda but not involving her in the production like the other albums. [Heck, one of the booklet photos dates back to the 1993 tour… Linda couldn't even shoot a new one.] Flaming Pie was the album that saw Paul return to the old style of recording, and find new life in his songwriting. That alone frames the Archive book. Hence my guess is that it will become: Flaming Pie, fully remastered as they were in 2016 with maybe some very slight adjustment b-sides "Broomstick" and "Looking For You," some unreleased material, and some earlier mixes the six episodes of "Oobu Joobu" that were released on single, back to back, though hopefully tracked as they were on the US single for "The World Tonight" so you could get the song without having to edit the entire track the promo CD of Oobu Joobu: Ecology as it was released at Best Buy stores in the US Rushes
If that's all it is, I will be sorely disappointed. Aside from "some unreleased material and a some earlier mixes", I already have all that material. I will not eagerly anticipate paying a "7 disc" price for less than one CD-worth of new music... Keep Rushes separate and save OJ:E for the Oobu Joobu download set, and give me three discs of previously unreleased material!!
Linited Edition Super Deluxe- $750 contents: 5 CD’s 2 DVD’s 7 LP’s 1 Special Edition Cassette Flaming Pie 12 x 12 Lithograph 2 Flaming Pie Guitar Picks Flaming Pie USB Stick filled with surprises 4 pieces of Flaming Pie Candy A pack of Flaming Pie playing cards Flaming Pie Jigsaw Puzzle 4 Flaming Pie Drink Coasters Individually wrapped slice of Lemon “Flaming” Pie ( best eaten by June, 11th, 2020) limited to 2500 made

no silly, It’s MPL.......the set is released July 24th but the pie goes stale June 11th. All part of the comprehensive plan
Maybe some Oobu Joobu Disc 1: Remaster album Disc 2: Outtakes (only unreleased songs) + Bside + A Room With a View Disc 3: Outtakes (different takes and mix) Disc 4: Oobu Joobu (The version that were the B Side of the singles) Disc 5: Oobu Joobu (More)
Here's where my head's at, but darned if that 5th CD isn't throwing me off... what doth lurk within the MPL vault? DISC 1: remastered album DISC 2: b-sides, and outtakes [this is what'll be the second record in the 2LP set] DISC 3: Demos and alternates, possibly more outtakes DISC 4: Oobu Joobu parts 1-6 DISC 5: ???? DVD 1: Music videos, TV appearances(?), any other relevant footage DVD 2: Paul McCartney In The World Tonight
