I'm sure I read or heard a trailer about it being available for 30 days un UHD, hope nothing has changed

I missed most of last night's broadcast (turned out I was struggling with early covid symptoms, as I learnt when testing this morning ), so am really keen to see the full gig myself.
So poking around a little that would make - roughly 700 Paul McCartney concerts - roughly 840 McCartney and/or Wings concerts - over 2240 lifetime McCartney live appearances including Beatles and related ensembles. Wonder if anyone has an accurate count. (Still a bit shy of the 2300 the GD did in 30 years, or whatever total Weir and Lesh have gotten to by now - certainly way over 3000 by now).
Also, Paul said "SYNT" at all the US shows, right? Too much being read into Paul turning 80, IMO. I don't think he's gonna let an arbitrary age milestone dictate his life. Dude likes to play. Dude still gets it done. He's gonna quit now because he hit 80?
I can see the current "mini-tour" schedule going on indefinitely. Tour a couple months of the year. Seems to work for him.
Someone with a Who username should know the Who only called 1982 a "farewell tour". None of the rest have formally been called that.
Exactly. There's still massive demand for Paul's shows, he still seems to enjoy it, and he can still play well. Weird to me that so many have decided "this is it"... because the dude turned 80. Ringo and Dylan are past 80 and still doing tours. Why would Paul quit?
That setlist is wrong. I heard promises that Paul would play "Arrow Through Me", but I don't see it on that setlist. Must be a mistake.
It's correct, here it is again. Paul McCartney setlist Can't Buy Me Love Junior's Farm Letting Go Got To Get You Into My Life Come On To Me Let Me Roll It Getting Better Let 'Em In My Valentine 1985 Maybe I'm Amazed I've Just Seen A Face In Spite Of All The Danger Love Me Do Dance Tonight Blackbird Here Today New Lady Madonna Fuh You Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite Something Ob La Di, Ob La Da She Came In Through T he Bathroom Window Get Back I Saw Her Standing There Band On The Run Glory Days I Wanna Be Your Man Let It Be Live And Let Die Hey Jude I've Got A Feeling Helter Skelter Golden Slumbers The End
Waking up today and consuming news and reviews of McCartney in Glastonbury has been just great. Also great is finally seeing the tide of public opinion turn in Macca’s favor. This obviously isn’t universal, but in my circles, it’s as if a lot of people have suddenly realized what a treasure he is. It wasn’t that long ago, this wasn’t the case. Peter Jackson and the constant touring have finally helped reverse quite a few worn out tropes about Macca. I think Scott Rodger deserves enormous praise for steering Macca’s career to this point. I’m glad Paul has lived long enough to see all of this. It seems to me Glastonbury was a real celebration of Macca’s career. Is this the end of Macca performing? Could be. But I just wouldn’t bet against him. Clearly, Macca loves performing. I’ve never seen him mail it in or think of a concert as a simple paycheck. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Paul set up some residencies in places like London or New York. So, I think he keeps going. Now, about those Archives…
Every performance you get the wave of naysayers claiming his voice is shot and it's not worth going and in the end 95%+ of the printed reviews are glowing. Ignore the clowns
I'm 32 wasn't around for it but the moving on sounds like a farewell tour name to me, also it's a joke
I wasn't around for Beatles on "Ed Sullivan" but I still know a lot about it. Seems like someone with a Who username would enjoy some awareness of their history. And the whole "97th Who farewell tour" joke got old when you were in elementary school...
After last night, I’m not worried either. He was in better voice last night than in Madrid in 2016, one of the last times I saw him.
Paul rocks the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury "And the excitement reached fever-pitch after 'Get Back’ when Paul introduced a 'West Coast' friend to the stage: none other than Dave Grohl, who duetted with Paul on 'I Saw Her Standing There' and 'Band On The Run'. The surprises kept coming after Dave left the stage, when Paul introduced his 'East Coast' friend Bruce Springsteen, who launched into a roaring ‘Glory Days’ followed by ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’."
