The Target CD has a green die on the cover. (In response to someone who asked if the CD version had any variants)
Come on, it's all subjective. I'm as big a fan as anybody, but there are a couple of albums I just don't listen to - they just don't do it for me. Some mid-80s albums in particular. Lets focus on the ones we love - there's lots of those. I'm even a fan of Driving Rain, to give you some perspective.
Sure. I am just curious that's all. I also have my preferences. But is there any that is pure crap? Like no good tunes on it? Just curious.
Well, I don' think so, but I've got friends who just aren't fans. (Their loss). For some of them I don't even think it's about the music (because they don't know the music). They don't like the hype... or the popularity... or something.
You could totally do this for any artists albums...remember those Deadpool Slipcases they made to market the movie? you could make dice slip covers for literally any old album by anyone.
In this parallel universe, "McCartney III" is a collaboration with Brian Eno. Partially recorded in Berlin, the album showcases Paul's love for Krautrock and Ambient Music. While side one consists of seven short, electronic art rock songs, side two is comprised of four long, dark instrumental tunes. The cover is a still from "The Man Who Fell To Earth", a movie by Nicolas Roeg in which Paul plays an alien in search for help for his dying planet. "McCartney III" was the first album of the so-called "Berlin Trilogy". It was followed by "McCartney II" that same year and "McCartney I" a couple of years later.
I'm gonna play my yellow 333 edition (since it's going to be the only copy of the album I'll be having - until a Deluxe edition later).
I think I am done buying any vinyl until like zongadude mentions, a deluxe 2 lp comes out. Now how long are we going to have to wait to hear a song?
