Unless you want to subscribe to the Sunday Times, you'll need to cancel the subscription after reading the article, preventing the free trial doesn't roll into a monthly payment. I didn't sign up for fear of forgetting to do that!

Are there any new details that Paul reveals in the Times interview ? Does he speak at all about the other person(s) who appear on “Slidin” ?

Hey. It's not even the best song in "The Back Seat of My Car."

Sorry, but no. Maybe I'm Amazed is masterpiece. Junior's Farm is a fun trifle. 50 years from now, people will still remember Maybe I'm Amazed. No one will remember Junior's Farm.

But Junior's Farm is already 46 and I still remember it! And fondly!

...zip code, social security number, bank account numbers and amounts in each. It feels pretty cool that Paul wants to know so much about me!

He just wants to make sure he's taken all your money! ;)

For me, it wasn't a problem. My ex already beat him to it. :disgust:

I know, it's normally Denny Laine this and Denny Laine that and occasionally Eric Stewart but never John Lennon.

Could "Slidin'" be another Egypt Station outtake with Greg Kurstin playing drums?

Not sure if this has been posted yet or not, but The McCartney BBC interview with Idris Elba is scheduled for the evening of Saturday 20 December. I'm guessing the Cavern show will be broadcast straight afterwards.

According to the BBC website, the Idris-McCartney special will air on December 19 (which is Saturday, so I guess you meant 19 instead of 20).
BBC One - Idris Elba Meets Paul McCartney

The Cavern show will be broadcast on Christmas Day (Friday 25th) at 23:45 GMT, runtime of 90 minutes.

Sorry, my typo, that's what I meant.

Thanks for the Cavern broadcast date.

Iv taken a break from listening to McCartney III now until the album proper is released. Thing is-many of the songs are on constant replay inside my head. These songs really got something that makes them stay. I guess they are highly addictive
A good sign I would say

I can't help it either. The songs are getting constant airplay in my head (no I'm not an airhead). They are so addictive.

Then no one will remember People Want Peace or Hand In Hand, because hardly anyone except for diehard fans have heard of them.

Honestly that wouldn’t really keep Junior’s Farm and Jet from being masterpieces in my book.
