Paul McCartney's "Freshen Up" Tour

It was going in 2012, almost gone in 2016, and it’s gonna be real gone in 2019.

 

Was kinda hoping for a Seattle show, the Vancouver show may be his spot for that general neck of the woods.

 

Ignored 48 years then he's does 4 shows in a 7 year span.

Members of Queen may be in town for that show....

 

Like in real life, or is that just fantasy?

 

Lots of tours have final production rehearsals in Vancouver. Queen start their tour in Vancouver 4 days after Paul is here.

So did Paul pick up the "sing gibberish and have the crowd repeat it" bit from Freddie? I don't think Paul started using it until '89, and Freddie was doing it at least as far back as '85 (at Live Aid).

 

Also, on the Facebook page announcement for Vancouver says only 2019 Canadian show

 

Ray Davies has been doing that since the early 1970's, to great effect; I must add.

 

Queen? Are they still around? Why bother?

 

Scored me a couple of good seats! Wasn't easy but finally got thru. Most expensive gig ever for me, but boy am I stoked! Who hoo hooo!

Received my package from Japan with CD's of all 3 UK shows. Tremendous sound, I'm very happy with the sets!!!

 

Does anyone have a photo of the merch table/area for this tour? I'd love a sneak peek at what's going to be available at the show I go to in MAY.
