    I do play oud(I've had one since 97) and I can't imagine any of the tunes being played on that wonderfully exotic instrument....perhaps a bizarre rendition of Sunflower!:winkgrin: Maybe Foot Of The Mountain could be played on an oud,just a thought .Perhaps I'll try an arrangement one day....

    Oh boy, what a singer Rod The Mod used to be! Who could forget Gasoline Alley and the early Faces material. You know Weller played this material with such vigor and ferocity live. His intent was arguably to add a harder edge to the music. More on that in the near future.....

    I hear you, but at the same time it was brave to cover/nick/misappropriate/utilize this tune for his own purposes. His version sounds more like Buenos Aires than Tangiers though.......
