    Musical perfection to me from start to finish. Complete with superb single releases, magnificent b-sides and brilliant artwork.

    There are loads of albums where I like every song. Better question would be love every song.

    Five albums always spring to mind when this is asked:

    The Cure - Disintegration
    R.E.M. - Murmur
    Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
    My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
    Brand New - The Devil & God Are Raging Inside Me

    It seems weird to me that for the vast majority of music that people listen to, they want to change stuff about it. It's just so far removed from how I react to music when I listen.

    I look at it more like I'm just going along with the ride I think.

    Maybe some people want rides to be different than they are too, though, so I don't know if that analogy helps, haha.

    Great list! I consider myself very much an album person as well. Brilliant that you've got Meat Loaf and an often dissed album from Simple Minds in the same list. GNFTNW suffers from the inability of many critics to let go of who the band were and stop comparing this album to those acclaimed earlier albums. By that time, they were a guitarist and singer and their producer (Keith Forsey of great sounding Billy Idol album fame) suggested they get on with that dynamic. I think the album sounds great and is a gas to listen to, nothing too deep but it serves the purpose of a good pop/rock record. Sorry if I'm telling you stuff you already know but I just found your list a very interesting one and even though it's as subjective as it gets, I can't argue with you on any of these that I'm familiar with nor would I. If I thought any of these albums were bad, what point would it serve for me to tell you as much? I think the worst I would say is "That one just didn't do it for me."

    Great list! Lots and lots of different colors here. :righton: I wish the album as an art form was given more attention these days.

    Blood on the Tracks, just the way it was released. Bob chose correctly to rerecord in December before its release. looking forward to a future Bootleg series release of the alt material but not essential for me. Love live versions of these songs but nothing beats
    what is on the album
