The one album I can not live without. Early on I could do without Meet in the Morning and Up to Me was a great discovery on the original Bootleg Series but
I have grown to love Meet. But it still sounds out of place

Just discovered Nellie McKay. From all I've heard this far, there isn't anything she's done that isn't at least compelling in some way, even if it's not to my taste.

But every track on her album Home Sweet Mobile Home is a winner. I can't say that for much of anything that's come out in (relatively speaking) recent times. And it covers a lot of ground. Should have been huge. Sounds like one of those albums that, on some alternate plane/dimension, was a million-selling classic.

Back to the point of the thread - every song on it, I like.

To me a perfect album is not only an album with all great songs but an album where every song is a ten out of ten. No album like this exists for me but Odessey & Oracle is very close.
