    Hi,

Yeah, I got a touch of it. :( When/if someone tries to tell ya there is no connection between loud music and tinnitus, they do NOT know what they are talking about.

Ed Bishop Incredibly, I'm still here

One of my brothers suffers from tinnitus, though not as bad as others I've heard about. He got it from rock concerts, though, not his home sound system(he's never had much of one). Always warned him to keep his distance from those speakers, but didn't always listen, I'm afraid. The worst place to be at most venues is up front and personal to the stage.

After having atteneded hundreds of rock concerts over the years, I have started to develop occasional ringing in the ears. The doc says it is the beginning of noticeable tinnitus. Considering I saw groups/people like The Who, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Rush, etc. I am not too surprised. Fortunately, it is not too bad yet, but I have noticed that if I am with friends, and someone plays a stereo loudly, I cannot hear normal volume conversation. Not good!:(
