How have I not noticed until now how much Liquid Time sounds like Sultans of Swing?

Bummer. Maybe others will report that it is clean and well pressed. Do you have an RCM to try that?

Saw that also. Sales of other items must be too good.

Yep. I clean everything before I play it the first time. I may hit it again and see if it helps any.

It was a fantastic show. It could be my imagination... but Trey's playing got cleaner and cleaner as the weeks went on. He was excellent tonight, both acoustic and electric. Pebbles and Marbles + Fast Enough For You + Slave = win.

The last two years of that sale I've bought a lot of DVDs and CDs I still haven't watched/listened to. They're good when I do.

I think you’re right. Virtually no flubs tonight. The band was on fire. But then, they’ve been rehearsing and playing a show a week for eight weeks after sitting home for six months.

Or maybe I’m just biased because so many of my favorite TAB songs got held for the last show.

I really enjoyed them all and they did seem to get better as they went along. The outro sequence last night as Trey left the building was really nice too. Some much needed positivity and a fitting end to a special run.

Watching that show, during Reba, there's an extended shot of Trey for like a minute just going up and down the fretboard. It was then that I officially gave up any hope of ever learning to play it, lol

Show 5 of Fall 2018 tonight!

    10/21/18 Hampton No. 3

This has got to be the worst setlist I've ever seen. On paper it is horrendous! :p

    1. Stealing Time (I love the song but always hate it as an opener)
    2. Skin It Back
    3. Brian and Robert (Love it, but...slot 3?!)
    4. Timber
    5. Simple (21 minutes so I guess it's probably good!)
    6. Mexican Cousin (hmmmm)
    7. Camel Walk
    8. Back On the Train
    9. Saw It Again (boring....)
    10. Waves
    11. Rise/Come Together
    12. Light
    13. The Line
    14. Wingsuit
    15. Your Pet Cat
    16. What's the Use
    17. Possum
    18. More
    19. YEM

Ok I'm being harsh - I like all of these songs. I do! But to have them ALL in this one show and in this order?!?! Bonkers, yo.

But who am I to judge until I've actually played it - 5 minutes into Stealing Time and Trey is tearing it up so....

    We shall see :)

"Worst Setlist Ever" is redeeming itself with spectacular performances and jams!!!

This Simple is straight outta 1998 or something - just blisstopia. SICK.

    WOW!

Set 1 was spectacular. I thought it was gonna be rough but everything had extra X Factor tonight and the sequencing actually worked perfectly!

    A+ first set!!!!!

That Simple was something else. That might be the best I’ve seen. It’s at least the best one I’ve seen since my first show (8/16/1996 Clifford Ball Day 1).

People went nuts for that Skin It Back. And the place exploded for that Simple. That was a fun show.

Man, this DAAM is unreal. The Mike's > H2 transition was so nice. They are just so patient, giving the music space to breathe, and then it comes on. Now an absurdly funky intro to Weekapaug by Mike... Not a bad way to open a show.

And while we’re at it, might as well throw in a mid-first-set Harry Hood...

    I can't imagine a better way to open a show. Holy smokes... Mike's > H2 > Weekapaug, Hood > Train Song

Ive heard this show several times over the years but this video is incredible. Really glad to have the chance to see it.

Can’t believe they cut the pre set II banter

    [crowd meekly attempts Destiny]

[Trey]Is this the human sacrifice part of the show?
