I've found a still-sealed up old Pickering DSR-EE stylus, an elliptical for the V-15/II. (.0003 x .0007 radius diamond) What kind of discs this would be best used for - generic 78's?? I know little about such things.... Thanks, folks....

It sounds more like a stylus for modern LPs to me.. I'd give it a try (if you have a matching cart, that is). If the suspension isn't dried up, it could sound good. Some of those 'classic' Pickering models in the V15 series are considered to sound rather good (by some people, at least). The bodies were in many case the same as Stanton's (same parent company, IIRC).

Thanks for the advice, D.! I didn't realize that Stanton and Pickering were related - verrry interesting!
