That 35DP-4 is identical to one of the copies I have - even the matrix (-1 1E2).

Yeah, this seam doesn't seem right. I'm not a collector of old sealed CDs, so I don't know for sure, but someone here can chime in.

As well his use of an expletive in the listing is not very classy. :shake:

I have a few Toshiba-EMI discs that are still sealed (they are titles that no one would charge a premium for - Sheena Easton, Power Station, etc. - so I am fairly sure that they are legit). They are sealed differently, with some having the seam on the side, and some on the bottom, as shown in the picture of the Ebay auction CD.

I don't think that the seam itself should make this questionable.

That ripped up obi for the Wall is essentially worthless - in Japan, you wouldn't get 10 yen for it. The "Dance songs" CD is a rental CD, so I suspect it's not "like new". At a quick glance, his other stuff looks OK. I like the sealed eternity golds with the original stickers on them.

My Sealed Abbey Rd has that seam. It is legit and never been opened.

BTW: I will be bidding on that Gold PF, so stay away.

Seriouly though, I will be bidding.

I knew you guys would know :agree:

Don't worry, I'm more likely to sell sealed discs in the coming months, rather than bid on them ;)

I will just hold off for the WYWH SACD which is apparently imminent. $500+ is too much for a CD. I have most of the others.

I did forget abou the SACD, if it is really going to get a release.

Maybe I will, but this pressing has everything to do with collectibility. I have the Japan for US to play. :)

Still, it will take some balls to bid, but I did regret not bidding last time.

Sad part is it won't be going for that much, it will take a lot higher to win.

Don't worry, it will turn up on Amazon for $9.99 some day. Half the people there don't know what they are selling.

Well, the seller is German and they use that word with the same frequency that a Valley Girl uses words like ... well "like" and "fer shure."
