That show is a must listen to all Pink Floyd fans, only confirms once again they were so, so, so, so great, above many others!!

I kind of like them delaying the Animals 5.1 release since then, there is a known thing to look forward to.

I don't care at all about the stuff they put out in the 80s and 90s and they were negligent in the 70s not recording any shows, so this is it. Something... A holy grail to pine for.

New Interview with Nick on Cleveland.com

Is there a next Pink Floyd archival project in the works?

NICK MASON: I think we’re rather running out of projects. (chuckles) The big thing we ought to do at some point is a remix of “Animals,” but that seems to have got sort of stuck in the system at the moment. I think for technical reasons it really lends itself to bit of rework. It was fun to make and it was interesting and good way of tackling it to do it in our own studio, but the technical side of it was really not as good as Abbey Road or AIR or wherever else we worked over the years. I’m sure we’ll get there eventually. It’s the one thing out there that clearly still has to be done.

I'm assuming that he's not up to date on the status of the project. The mixes are done.

He knows very well what's going on. He's just playing coy and maybe just talking about it to talk about something Pink Floyd related.

When and if the Animals reissue ever materializes, they'd better put the complete Pigs On The Wing with the Snowy White guitar solo on it. At least as a bonus extra. I prefer it! :)

Pigs On The Wing is one whole track instead of split into two parts with a guitar solo that really makes it feel like it's complete. Excellent!

I (could be wrong but) remember Ron sent some content (e.g. concert footage) to them for the Early Years project.
And the staff actually used some of that but they didn't credit him.

Yeah, the Hakone footage was actually MY edit! And I also helped Lana locate a few things and sent them upgrades of the Early BBC audio (which wasnt used). Not even a "thanks" in the credits.
