Nope but this would come separately on a disc mixed in 5.1 surround.

I imagine the line for Record Store Day looks (and smells) pretty similar...

100% agree with your comments on the Singles CD, it's an excellent compilation. I had a cassette, then CD-R, copy, both from mail trading, for years before I stumbled up a used version of the entire box in a random 2nd hand flea market in Chattanooga for a crazy good price. It was one of my holy grails simply because I was a poor college kid when it came out and couldn't afford it, but also specifically for that one CD. It was a great day when I threw the official version of the CD in the rental car CD player. :wiggle:

That's probably because you have a UK/European pressing of it.

The original US release of Piper didn't include 'Astronomy Domine' and later (I think) Capitol/Tower were obviously too lazy to ask EMI in the UK about the master tapes
to send them over, therefore the Ummagumma version is on the US edition of A Nice Pair.

  16. Yes, Piper was re-issued in 1987 when the entire Floyd catalouge went U.K. edition here in the States. With Piper now the U.K. version, that was the first time the studio Astronomy appeared here domestically, and A Nice Pair was deleted.

Before that I think in the mid-1970s someone made a bootleg called Dark Side Of The Moo (with a cow on the cover, based on Atom Heart Mother) which contained
tracks that weren't officially released in the US at that point, including the studio version of 'Astronomy Domine'.

  18. That is true. I was speaking about official releases.

I know that boot. But also had a Cd bootleg with the exact same title and artwork which contained a concert from 1970. (Birmingham if I remember correctly)
