I got most of the vinyl reissues for about $30 cad which is reasonable in Canada.

 

Provided that would fit on 3 CD set. NOT a bunch of CDs containing just 2 tracks each. I'd leave that for a 7" vinyl box set.
And also, SINGLES MIXES. Some of them have not been released on CD

Finally, I'd add the other charted songs like 'Wish You Were Here', 'Sorrow', 'Loss For Words' and promo singles like 'Pigs (Three different ones)' and 'Dogs of War'.

Even more disappointed today, especially with the extra live recordings on the CD. No official live audio document of Take it Back, Poles Apart, and On the Turning Away from The Division Bell tour.

Also, can anyone else determine where the extra 20 minutes for the Delicate Sound of Thunder concert film is? The track-listing is identical to the current film version (aside from an extended Shine On).

 

For DSOT DVD/Blu-Ray they expanded shine on you crazy diamond 1-5 insted of the intro, comparing with vhs version, and the rest of the set list from vhs are the same (****t!) They will included yet another movie, round and around, ANM Pt1 , Terminal Frost, and ANM Pt.2 on live dvd/blu-ray disc, Welcome to the machine and ABITW Pt.2 will be left out!!

Man, I really did not need another live version of Astronomy Domine and I didn't need the Atlanta '87 live tracks given that the concert film has been omitted. I can't fathom why these choices have been made over not releasing live tracks from The Division Bell tour that weren't included on Pulse.

 

I have to say that I'm VERY underwhelmed with this box

No Echoes 1987, No Atlanta 1987, No Toronto 1987 rehearsals, no Big Spliff, no extra live tracks from Division Bell Tour, no soundscape, etc

They could include much more, like instrumental mixes (like Steven Wilson does).

... and they include that performance with Billy Corgan, when he can't even get the riff right. Come on!

I'm not surprised about Echoes not turning up. They dropped it after 11 shows and all the recordings I've heard are sloppy and all over the shop. The Jam section is generally good, but the intro and especially the vocal sections are awful.

 

It was originally included. Must have been David's call to drop it. Damn.

 

Oh yeah, Peace Be With You is missing. Ron did say some things were not completely set in stone, but it's a shame we won't hear that. But then, maybe it is renamed under one of those other tracks.

 

Never thought I'd feel frustrated at David, but here we are haha.
