Apart of many unreleased live recordings (I believe the whole Division Bell tour was captured on tape),
there's the Panamerica soundtrack, The Big Spliff and possibly some early/alternative takes of songs that could be part of the box set. I expect lots of content in there.

I've heard that The Wall movie will get released on Blu-ray this year.

Ah okay, cool! At least something for the album's anniversary.

There was a bit talk of restoring the original The Wall concert film, Waters said it's possible it'll get a release sometime.
Unfortunately not so soon, I think. Maybe around 2024 for the album's 45th anniversary...

Does anyone have the Venice clip from Life On The Road with Nick Mason?
It's supposed to look very good!

So the Wall movie being released on Blu Ray this year? We'll see. Rick Wright's solo stuff was supposed to be on Spotify, since a couple years now, too. But nothing so far. I hope this stuff releases between now and 2021.

2024? I get it’s the 45th anniversary but at some point, and sooner then later Roger will die of old age. Get the **** out while your alive man

That would be great! I guess things got moving after that recent interview where Roger thought it was already out and he would look into it.

As long as James is involved and Nigel isn't anywhere to be seen I will be happy :)

Any officially remastered version is not yet circulating and I don't think the Venice show has been rebroadcast since the original TV transmission when the show went out live as it happens. The TV version is available, song by song, on various streaming sites.

    I'm well aware of that.
But recently I was told that a clip from Venice is included in Life on the Road with Nick Mason hosted by AC/DC's Brian Johnson.
The clip is supposed to look great and better than any available version.

It looks much better and sharper than any previously circulated version - from memory [it has been a while since I saw LOTR] there's maybe 30 seconds or so it, in much the same way as recent(ish) TV broadcasts of DSOT from 2013 onwards have looked a lot sharper and well defined than any previous home release of that have been.

And I would very much like to see those 30 seconds if someone has it.

He better not go anywhere near it as he will make it sound like someone playing drums in a box under Rogers staircase in a cupboard

Yeah the Venice footage from what i recall seeing is a lot sharper and clearer then footage doing the rounds. Is interesting that since 2013 TV stations have been showing DSOT a lot & in clips of Floyd Venice being shown more before that footage always got ignored.

I wonder if we'll get some of the screen films used during the Lapse and Bell tours. I know we got the ones used during the 70s shows, in the Immersion sets.

They were all included on the P.U.L.S.E DVD.
But it would be great to have them restored on Blu-ray.
I imagine a section dedicated to the screen films and a Play All button so you can just sit back and enjoy all the screen films from 1987 to 2014 :)

    I was there!

Interesting that the big one-off from '77 was at the same venue.

My guess would be not later than August. But then again it's a Floyd release so who knows how long we have to wait. Sometimes learning something is going to happen, before the official word is out, can be quite frustrating ;) but at the same time very exciting :D

July-August could be right for the announcement i guess but when it comes to Floyd releases and potential delays its a PF tradition lol. Remember the long wait and delays with the Pulse DVD release.

I know the circle shaped screen films were/are part of the concept, but a full uncropped 16:9 screen version of that all would be great on Blu-ray.
