RIGHT?! I was listening to Learning To Fly the other day (after years of avoiding it) and realized what a magnificent track it is. AMLOR is not nearly as bad as people make it.

Watching DSOT just for fun. Amazing version of Great Gig in the Sky from Versailles. This trio, IMHO, nails it offering the best live rendition I've ever heard and very close to the original vocals to boot.
Today is the first day of Spring Break so maybe I'm just in a forgiving mood today? :D

I'm wondering if they take the same route as they did with TEY releasing this as a big box and subsequent individual volumes?

Hard to get excited about more post-Waters Floyd material.

Is this the box we really want?

What do the full box buyers get that the individual year set people don’t? We going to need an equivalent of Continu/ation and a hidden Meddle 5.1 ;)

Listening to Echoes Wembley 1974 here. I’m very easily influenced by this forum...

    I think they will.
It kind of makes sense when you think about it.

    Looking at my projection:
    - The 1987 set is basically an expanded and remixed "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason".
    - The 1988 set is an expanded and restored "Delicate Sound Of Thunder" film and accompanying Live album.
    - The 1994 set is what could have been (should have been?) the extra material on the TDB Deluxe set and could be titled "The Division Bell Sessions".
    - The 1995 set is basically a restored and expanded "PULSE" with an accompanying alternate live album.
    - The 1989-1992 is the equivalent to the CONTINU/ATION set on The Early Years, gathering all odds and sodds on this quiet period for the Floyd and is unlikely to have a separate release.

I'm really in love with my idea :D

There we're camera's the night before. Probably for a test run. But if I remember correctly there we're less of them.

Seeing as how the band was basically defunct for a little while, perhaps REFORM/ATION? If AMLOR is remixed, it might be time for a RE-EVALU/ATION. And as The Endless River is the last album, it would make a good PUNCTU/ATION.

Not really. The biggest part of the unreleased stuff will be more live material (we already have two albums, one for each tour) and some video clips.

Seeing as EY videos are being released slowly but steadily on YouTube, I'll probably be happy with just a digital version of the new set... By the way, for those who missed it, after complete Unplugged DVD, Gilmour just released complete RTN on YouTube!

Well, I guess that's the way things are nowadays...
