I was wondering about that, too. Hopefully it'll come on (SD) Blu-ray then.

I'm absolutely thrilled for this. Just a couple questions (sorry if they may have already been answered):

I know we're not to expect Welcome to the Machine as part of the newly restored DSOT film, but will A New Machine & Terminal Frost be included?

Also, will there be audio-only CD versions of these films?

What about Yet Another Movie be cool to see that edit of that song, though the Venice version is excellent and shot really well imo

Generally the question: will the big set include previously released tracks on the CDs? Alternate concert recordings would be nice.

  6. I don't think I have either, come to think of it. I mean, I'm sure I've seen clips from it -- but only in so far as I've dialed up random uploads from YouTube at some point or another over the last 10+ years -- and I could swear to the source of any of the footage I've occasionally taken a gander at.

Still infinitely more interested in previously unreleased *audio* stuff (particularly demos, and the like), but I'm sure I'll enjoy the video now and then too.

The official announcement should reveal this. I only know so much - all from various reliable sources.

    Video spoilers first. :p

Yes, I think it might be. Seems like it used to be available on YouTube - sadly no more.

Once again, thanks ever so much to @rontoon

Hope your health is keeping you well, sir.

As for this box, I couldn't really care less what's on it to be perfectly honest. I'm just delighted it's coming out, and I'll devour whatever is on it. Can't wait!

Adding to the masses, thank you Ron for the information you release, can't wait to see if there are any rarities to be released as part of this though, most of it looks like upscaling of stuff already released. Cant understand why they would not be releasing stuff like WTTM from DSOT. This was one song that particularly blew me away when i saw it live, just a cacophony of 12 string guitars across the arena, amazing

Thank you. Interesting that the song you mentioned wasn't included on any PF DVD or Blu Ray.

He was playing that medley back on the Pros and Cons Tour as well, there was a NY city show (Radio City Music Hall?) broadcast on FM radio that a buddy of mine taped . I think i wound up with it, might even still have it. Anyways that medley was one of my favorites on it. The crowd was really into the show, they went nuts when he did that. "If" as well, and "Nobody Home"

Several songs were edited on the DSOT VHS Sorrow has a edited solo slightly shorter then on the live album, which they could of rectified with the new edit (i hope) I think Signs of life had an edit in it as well. Got me thinking with this new edit they have fixed all the cuts and made the songs full length to match the live album full solos for Sorrow/CN

Nearly every song on the original DSOT film was edited for time.

Let's hope that they took the opportunity to correct this. I'm hoping they did.
