What was the BIN on this one? Someone entered a bid, so it's gone now. At t he risk of being blamed for threadcrap - - is the mastering the same as the 48DP?

 

I think it is but it sounds much better to me and I actually compared them.

 

If I recall it was about 70GBP.

Oh yes indeed ! I don't know how though, it sat there for over 6 hrs before I found it. Not that i'm complaining .

Actually pulled out my copy of the Wall, and it is a 50DP. Bought it used a while ago, and I hadn't given it much thought since I have the MFSL, and it's not something I play too often -- always been a little too long for me. I compared a couple tracks, and I can see why people like this version. On "Comfortably Numb", when Gilmour comes in, it's majestic. If I hadn't read these threads, I might have never pulled it out again, so thanks for that.
