Plaid Room Records 6th Anniversary Sale (in store and online)

The mighty Plaid Room Records in beautiful Loveland, OH have just announced they are having a 15% off on ALL vinyl sale to celebrate their 6th anniversary both in-store and online.

In-store starts today (Friday, Feb 19) at noon and runs through 5 PM Sunday, Feb 21.

Online sale starts immediately after, on Sunday, Feb 21, and runs through Midnight on Monday, Feb 22.

I’m currently trying to decide if the roads here in Ohio are decent enough for me to make the drive down there tomorrow to shop in-store....

Not to be a crazy person, but does the online sale start at 12:00am Sunday AM?

 

Says it starts Sunday at 5PM ET. Rotten timing, most titles I’ve been looking at are sold out.

 

Yeah, they are clearly gearing this toward the loyal in-person shoppers so I was pretty happy to see them offering online at all. They are also closed Mondays and Tuesdays, so this would give them a chance to handle the extra Web sales they are sure to get while the shop itself is closed to the public.

In any case, I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to find stuff I want to get to the free shipping threshold at $50 at least. Lol

 

Sorry, no, the online sale starts when the in-person sale (and the physical store) closes on Sunday at 5 PM. I’m sure I could have stated that more clearly. My bad.

i'll be amazed if they have anything interesting left in stock by the time the online sale commences. they've become incredibly popular over the last 11 months and it's a challenge to nab new releases.

of course i'll find something because there are few indie stores that are as great as this one that i like to spend my money at.

 

They have a decent selection of reggae. Hopefully some stuff will still be is stock by Sunday night

It’s currently 1 PM and I am finally free. I’m thinking about taking the 3 hr drive down there right now and wondering if an hour of shopping time is worth the drive.... having responsibilities kind of sucks, guys.

 

I don't mean this in a malicious way, but you would drive 7 hours roundtrip for a 15% off sale? Am I missing something?

Having a hard time finding anything that’s not oos

 

They are definitely due for a restock. I usually like to buy my AP/AS stuff from them but lately I've had to go elsewhere to get anything in stock. Hopefully after this stale they replenish their online stock.

 

A few things in my card went oos on me. But i snagged the new petty wildflowers 3 lp and american beauty for $50 even. So free shipping!
