    So how's the video quality on these? Is it a good transfer?

    I've got some Blu-rays that are great quality and others that look no better than standard DVDs.

    Is Planet of the Apes worth upgrading to Blu-ray if one already has it on standard DVD?

    For $23? Go for it. The Blu-rays are nice upgrades, and you can't beat that price!

    I've been meaning to get an Apes box set for ages. I should pull the trigger, not sure if they'll play on my machine though.
