Speaking of All or Nothing, there should be some Small Faces songs on this list.

    Glad All Over

    Get Off My Cloud
    Bus Stop

    Apologies to:

    Heart Full of Soul
    Can't Explain
    Tired of Waiting
    Sunshine Superman

... and a couple of others, notably by the Kinks

I understand that this is a Top 25, otherwise I'd want to vote for My Ship is Coming In by the Walker Brothers and Frozen Orange Juice by Peter Sarstedt and probably some other lesser-known great stuff too.

  9. By 1965; the British Invasion had become an “occupation “ that spawned an American response of their great music. Hence, there were plenty enough great songs in 1964 to be considered for the invasion.

The British responded with those mighty 65 hits as they mixed it op with Motown, electric Dylan , Byrds, Lovin Spoonful, Beach Boys, et all.

    Fun poll!

Just can't. Like them all...a lot. Only one song I'm somewhat indifferent to: Gloria.

People generally don't understand just how great a singer Mr. Noone is. Thanks.

Stop the whining about what is not on the list and place your votes from the available options. Or start a thread where fans can just list their favorites.

I went with, in order of preference:
    She’s Not There
    Sunshine Superman
    Bus Stop
    House of the Rising Sun
    For Your Love
    I’d have had this one in there for sure;

never gets much love, but very special because it’s the first rock song I can remember and because it was the first LP I ever bought (at the dime store in my tiny Texas town).
