    My votes:

    All Things Must Pass
    Bridge Over Troubled Water
    American Beauty
    Workingman's Dead
    Layla

John Lennon is my favorite Beatle, but I'm particularly not a fan of Plastic Ono Band. The music is all right, I like its raw sound; but I don't like the message of the record, or at least what I personally get from it. I love his work from 1971-75 though.

Tea For The Tillerman and Deja Vu are two of my favourite records. Never tire of them.

Also voted for Paranoid, After The Goldrush and Bridge Over Troubled Water. Regard them as fun but flawed.

Haven't heard fifteen of them. Don't like the rest.

Fairport's Full House & Lindisfarne's Nicely Out Of Tune are another two indispensable albums from 1970!

there's others (Lennon, Young, S&G, Led Zep III) that I like well enough, but not so much I'd consider them among my favorites of the year.

  15. But...
"Let It Be" by The Beatles?
    ...and...
"Lola Versus Powerman And The Moneygoround, Part One" by The Kinks?

Both, clearly did not make it... were they somewhere in 26-30?

Surprised, but my 5 vote getters are amazing already, but... those 2 are as great as any of my 5 choices & better than my 3 "Most HonorableMentions".

I just realized Bryter Layter is 1971, so I'm replacing it with Lola Vs The Powerman by The Kinks.

1970 was obviously a great year for music, right up there with 1967. There are several more albums that deserve to be nominated, but in my
mind Let It Be isn't one of them. It has it's moments, but compared to other albums on this list and the Beatles catalog in general, it doesn't
    measure up.
    Layla
    Bitches Brew
    John Barleycorn
    All Things Must Pass
Abraxas/Lick My Decals (can't make up my mind)
