    From Wikipedia:

"Definitely Maybe is the debut studio album by English rock band Oasis, released by Creation Records on 29 August 1994. The album was an immediate commercial and critical success in the United Kingdom, having followed on the heels of the singles "Supersonic", "Shakermaker", and "Live Forever". The album went straight to number one in the UK Albums Chart and became the fastest-selling debut album in the UK at the time; it went on to be certified 7× Platinum (2.1 million+ sales) by the BPI. Definitely Maybe marked the beginning of Oasis's success in the United States, selling over one million copies there despite only peaking at 58 on the Billboard 200. The album went on to sell over 8 million copies worldwide and brought widespread critical acclaim."

    Recorded at Clear Studios, Manchester

I had to do "Love Em All", there are no bad or even so-so songs here.

    ("Columbia" probably my fave)

I’m not a fan of Oasis but I’ve always liked Live Forever so I gave it a vote

Everything but "Sad Song". This is as close to a perfect album as you can get. Oh, and "Columbia" is my jam.

It has Digsy's Dinner and Shakermaker on it, so I can't agree with you there.

It ends with Married With Children with me, so I won't vote Whatever.

    Live Forever, Columbia, Slide Away.

But there ain't a bad one

No real weak tracks here - great album. Their best, I think.

A few favourites, but I really like the trance-like dirge of Columbia, with those 3 different guitar solos from Noel becoming intertwined in the final coda.

And for all the macho posturing, Slide Away is a tremendous, heartfelt ballad. They kind of take it back with the middle-finger of Married With Children which follows it, but that track is cool as well!

Legendary album, despite producer Owen Morris crushing the hell out of it. It's a brickwalled masterpiece but a masterpiece nonetheless.
