Aww c'mon people, you don't know what a climax is? Y'all never had an orgasm? Those don't go on and on...well, speaking for myself. If yours do...more power to you!:righton:

4:03. The CLIMAX and not a second longer

“Twist and Shout,” arguably the most visceral, electric, lightning in a bottle moment in the entire catalog for me.

Ohhhhh...okay, gotcha (ADITL is still a better climax:wave:).

I love that too. Like I said, I agonised! LOL. A Day in the Life is my favourite Beatles song. But it's not so much the orchestral climax that gets me (although it does!) but the opening guitar...I can't even describe the feels it gives me. And I can't explain why. There's just something desperately sad and sweet, almost tender, about the guitar tone. Did John play that part?

Yes, John played his Gibson J-160E acoustic guitar.

Thanks for answering my question. I'm so glad it was John. Some people on Beatles Bible say it was George on the basis that apparently in some recording you can hear John saying 'get my maracas'. I had a hunch it was John though...got a John vibe about it.

How about John's ALL RIGHT in Revolution

or Piggies with the sound that would inspire ELO

Sorry to be gauche but "Long Long Long" is their most consistently rewarding ending.

From the options, it has to be A Day In The Life tho'.

I'm partial to While My Guitar Gently Weeps long coda myself, amongst the poll choices and those others already mentioned as well.

Good to see another vote for Hey Jude. There's no way that Hey Jude climax should be that low in the poll - it is one of music's most iconic climaxes. I think people have misunderstood what the climax of Hey Jude is and thought it was the nah nah nahs. It's not.

A Day In The Life is a wonderous song with a truly haunting ending.

Twist and Shout is pure rock ecstasy with a wonderful ending.

Hey Jude is a magical sing a long track with a raucous wall of sound ending.

One other song that has a great ending is I Want You (She's So Heavy). It is so intense.

The Beatles. What more can anyone say that hasn't already been said.
