Kind of surprised Exile was voted so high-not that it's a bad album but it's probably the worse recorded (worse mixed) Stones album of their "classic' period. Also surprised T-Rex-"The Slider" only got 26 votes as it looked like a lot of forum members seemed to list it first as titles they'ed like to see.

    That'd be ridiculous.

David Bowie "The Man Who Sold The World" was released by Mercury.

Does UMG Japan still have access to this mastertapes?

Would there be any way they could print the already DSD mastered 'Wish You Were Here'?

    Up to 150 votes! Thanks.

Any hints for other Universal artists in the second 60-70 poll are welcome.

  15. Sure, if whoever paid for that mastering consented and allowed Universal in Japan to utilize it, likely for a large sum of money. The chance of that happening is very, very slim.

    Impossible I'm afraid, it's released by EMI. I don't think they're into hi-res.

Keep voting ... almost 150 voters!

I forgot to select "Quadraphenia" but Stevie Wonder's 2 selections are my only choices (mainly due to the fact that we're talking stereo-only here)

161 votes already. I'm impressed! Don't forget the other polls (Greatest Hits/ Best Of Albums + 80s).

    Soon also 90s and 00s.

    + part 2 of 60s-70s and 80s albums.
