I'd want the T-Rex Great Hits compilation-I din;t think that's the same one you listed in the poll however.

    Abba, Supertramp and Beautiful South.

They would have to sound really good to justify the price, especially if only stereo!

If U2 were included in the list, I would participate.

  5. Only the first 7 really hold interest for me, and greatest hits really don't anyhow...so needing at least 10, I put in the other 11 (really couldn't choose the best 3 from these), keeping it below the max of 20...The Cure almost made it too, but didn't.

    Level I:
The Mamas And The Papas "California Dreamin' - The Best Of ..." (2002)
Bob Marley & The Wailers "One Love - The Very Best Of ..." (2001)
The Who "My Generation - The Very Best Of ..." (1996)
Marvin Gaye "The Very Best Of" (1994)
Stevie Wonder "Song Review - A Greatest Hits Collection" (1996)
Buddy Holly "The Buddy Holly Collection" (1993)
    T. Rex "Greatest Hits" (2009)

    Level II:
Dire Straits & Mark Knopfler "Private Investigations: The Very Best Of" (2005)
10cc "The Very Best Of" (1997)
Bee Gees "Their Record - Great Hits" (2001)
The Beautiful South "Solid Bronze - Great Hits" (2001)
    Carpenters "40/40" (2009)
Sting & The Police "The Very Best Of Sting & The Police" (2002)
    ABBA "Complete Gold" (2008)
Suzanne Vega "Tried And True - The Best Of" (1998)
    Nirvana "Nirvana (Best Of)" (2002)
Sheryl Crow "The Very Best Of ..." (2004)
Supertramp "The Very Best Of..." (1990)

Which one are you referring to?
I think the one listed is the 2 CD comp. from Japan.
    Is this the one?

    Greatest Hits [Import]

If you're going for a 2 CD comp. I much prefer the singles.

I am not a big buyer of collections, but I would be interested in Marvin Gaye and Bob Marley

You would have to ask that question :). I would lean towards One Love

I found One Love an interesting compilation, but "Legend" is still the most popular one (I think).

Are all "Free" albums under license of UMG Japan?

Is the compilation "All Right Now - The Best Of" released by Universal Japan?
