"One Minute Woman" had her 15 seconds of fame, and "Please Read Me" was ignored. Vote your next 2 weakest links.

Discussion question: Have you seen the Bee Gees live.....and if so, how many songs have you seen from this record?

    Why you're not loving me.............................................

    Please Read Me (Round 3)
    One Minute Woman Round 3)
I Close My Eyes (Round 2)
Red Chair, Fade Away (Round 2)
    Close Another Door (Round 1)

Okay, it's getting painful to choose lol. :help:

    So I picked:
Every Christian Lion Hearted Man Will Show You
    Cucumber Castle

DQ: Alas, I never saw them live :shake:. Maurice had already passed by the time I started getting into them, and neither Barry or Robin ever came anywhere even close to me.

I caught them live once at One Night Only gig in Vegas. Off the top of my head the following were played that night:

    NY Mining Disaster
    Holiday
    To Love Somebody

    Every Christian....
    I Can't See Nobody

Both good songs, just like the others a bit more (though I almost went with to Love Somebody, which will get my vote as soon as the above two are gone.)

I think I'm an outlier in my tastes for this album as Craise Finton Kirk... is my favorite song and Red Chair is probably in my top four.

The two you voted off are the two best songs left in my opinion!

Interesting - I've never been crazy about "Turn of the Century" but do agree "In My Own Time" is hard to vote off.

Bee Gees First is just a solid album, isn't it?

I never saw The Bee Gees live.

I’m going to end this round - start the next one around 1:00 PM east time. Going out for the night before 2:30.

Yes it is. In a way it is kind of like (on a lesser scale of course) the Beatles debut in the US. The Bee Gees had been recording in Australia for a while before that album came out.
