I'm glad so many are in agreement with me, in regard to "Dear Yoko" and "Forgive Me", but I can understand the dislike for "Face it". It's like he's trying to rock unconvincingly.

    Dear Yoko and Forgive Me.

I will also note that I love Yoko's contributions to both Double Fantasy and Milk and Honey.

Glad to see "Watching the Wheels" got 0 votes - That's one of best songs in his cannon if you ask me. Surprised to see "Beautiful Boy" got a couple votes - I love the song a lot! One man's treasure...

I never really liked "Cleanup Time" till I heard the "Stripped Down" remix. I kinda like it now.

Flower Princess is an easy choice. The only truly weak song.
I also went with Cleanup Time. It is OK, but drags a bit.

Thank you for your service and I respect your decision, but you totally blew the opportunity to say you Don't Wanna Face another round!

I voted off Cleanup Time (boring) and Beautiful Boy (saccharine).

I appreciate these kind words, and that of others.

I look at it sort of like the announcements Elton John and Paul Simon made about their retirement from touring. Both said they would still perform, but on their terms (my paraphrase of what they said). If I decide I want to run three or four more games this year, I will (assuming it won't violate any procedures). If I don't want to, I won't.

But the folks that have been doing it lately are doing a good job, and running albums I wasn't going to do. I hope that continues; I do think the Gorts may want to designate a coordinator, just for the order of it. But after this week, it won't be me! :)

Clean Up Time and Flower Princess. The first few rounds will be easy, but then it will get tough for 3 of them if they get that far.

Forgive Me and Cleanup Time although Cleanup Time is pretty decent.
Dear Yoko for the title could get the boot strait away but the song is fun.
Those who voted Woman or Starting Over are trying to be hip.
And those who voted I Don't Wanna Face It this early are missing the humor.
I'm predicting Watching The Wheels is the last one standing.
    A great unique track.

Wasn't "Beautiful Boy" one of Macca's Desert island discs?

    Forgive Me Dear Yoko

Disclosure: I've actually started to warm up to (some of) Yoko's works over the last decade or so.

Sure, take away my SHF Secret Decoder Ring. Fine.

Joey – kudos on an extraordinary run. It's really been fun to play, if only to lambast the other posters' votes. But you really did engender engaging discussions on the works at hand. So much so that you survived the Forum's edict on discouraging "worst of" threads (which I otherwise agree with). TWL was always about revisiting notable albums, learning stuff and and exchanging viewpoints.

You were one of the posters that was there from the start; I looked at the first one today when someone asked about it, and you were there. My thanks to you for your participation all along.

Think Paul performed it live or recorded a cover

John was on fire in 1980 (thank you B-52's) - so many good songs it's hard to choose

Went with Cleanup Time and Princess

I don't know, "Woman" is one of my choices this time. It's my least favorite Lennon song on DF; I just don't care for the turgid pace of it.

But maybe I'm just trying to be hip...:)

It's also cheesy beyond belief, something John almost never is, and the fact that I know he's singing it about Yoko and know what Yoko and their marriage was actually like...:hurl::hurlleft:

    You are being the hippest.
Its crazy to me though how some can't like Woman.
It actually makes me reevaluate my hatred for Yoko.
    Just a beautiful song.
