Stephanie knows she's out. We've reached the final. Remember that you're still voting for the weakest link, and not the song you want to win.

Discussion question: What would your personal final pairing have been?

I'll run the 1st album at some point. (Forever Changes happened last year).

Thanks for playing. Up next...........not sure yet.

    Stephanie Knows Who (Round 4)
    Orange Skies (Round 3)
    The Castle (Round 2)
    ¡Que Vida! (Round 1)
    Revelation (Round 1)

Probably this is my final pairing, and I am further swimming in the mainstream by voting "Colors" off the island now...

Suggestion: how about Aja? That would be a brutal one to choose weakest links.

My vote for "Seven & Seven Is".

My final pairing would be "The Castle" vs. "She Comes in Colors" with "She Comes in Colors" for the win.

@LandHorses: Thanks for hosting this poll.

"Stephanie" vs. "7 and 7" ... but I'm fine with this final.

I love every song on the album, including the long "Revelation" that everybody seems to hate.

Fill that void by playing Da Capo right at this moment. Fill your heart with LOVE.

The "song" is lame, but after the first six or seven minutes they start to jam and that's when it gets good - especially when the sax comes in.

It may be perceived that way now, but not when it was first released. In fact, many of my friends really liked that song at the time.

I think it's a pretty solid garage rock blues jam. The main problem I have is the length and the fact that it is such a jarring transition from the beauty of side 1. I think that if they had used some of the Forever Changes songs they had at the time instead of Revelation (or with a shorter version), Da Capo would have been regarded as their masterpiece.

The next album's songs weren't written yet except for "Old Man". Bryan MacLean already had some songs ready to go that could have been mixed in to the lineup to fill it out. "Kathleen", "Fresh Hope", "Tired of Sitting", "Blues Singer", "People", "I Can't Remember", "Castle Waltz". Most of all, I'm disappointed in "She Looks Good" not being used. That one is as good as "Orange Skies" and could have been added to the first side at least if "Revelation" was going to be on 'Da Capo'. Still it's a great album.
