"What Can I Say" had no loss for words as it was ejected.

That brings us to the final pair. Remember, you are still voting to eject a song, leaving your choice as the Stronger of this pair standing.

Discussion question: What would your personal final pairing be on this album?

Thanks to all that played and commented this time. Next up: Musicman98 is going to run a game on Metallica's RIDE THE LIGHTNING.

    3 What Can I Say
    4 Georgia
    5 It's Over
    T6 Harbor Lights
    T7 We're All Alone
T7 What Do You Want The Girl To Do
    T9 Jump Street
    T9 Love Me Tomorrow

    My top 3:

    1. Lowdown
    2. Georgia
    3. Lido Shuffle

And as good as the entire album is, for me “Lowdown” stands head and shoulders above the rest. To quote a Youtube poster: “If ever a song defined the time and crossed over music genres to be a timeless classic, ‘Lowdown’ was it.”

I don’t get too many of these right, but this was an easy album to diagnose. Especially after that dumpster fire poll of SNF.

Both of these are excellent songs: one a classic and the other the “Lito” Shuffle.

    Tough call.

DQ: Please see my quote above.

missed this poll thus far - been under the weather all week - too bad for me - I love this album.

I voted off Lowdown but that says more of my love for Lido Shuffle than anything else. My love for that song borders on the irrational.

This would be my final. Georgia and What Can I say are contenders for the #2 spot depending on the day.

This would be my final pairing. I have always loved the mellow, groovy vibe of "Lowdown". I voted off "Lido Shuffle".

I haven’t been participating, but this would have been my final pairing. Voting off “Lido Shuffle” because what can I say, “Lowdown” is all kinds of awesome.

I figured Lido would win relatively handily so I voted it off the island, but really, an impossible choice for me

It's impossible NOT to play air keyboard as soon as the solo kicks in, isn't it? ;) one of my absolute favorite songs by anyone, ever!

    It's Over over Lowdown.

  13. This would've been my final pairing. And how can anyone vote out "Lido...", one of the great yell-along songs with an epic synthy midsection to die for?

Chris Berman and Tom Jackson placed the “Lito” Shuffle ear worm and to this day, I still break out in song anytime a variation of that name is mentioned.

    Lido whoa oh oh oh.........

(And I am definitely not a Phil Eagles fan. At all. Even in the least.)

Because of the part in another song where I yell:

    Dig the low
    Low
    Low
    Low
    Lowdown!

Jeff Porcaro's drums feel on Lido Shuffle tips the scale for me.

Looks like “Lido” missed the boat again. ;)

I missed this, but would have picked Lido Shuffle to win over What Can I Say.
