My final pairing would have been You Just May Be The One and Randy Scouse Git.

My final pairing would've been "You Told Me" losing to "Shades Of Gray"

I would have had You Told Me beat out No Time. But it would have been close as "Rock on George for Ringo one time" is possibly my favorite lyric Micky ever sang and the whole tune is such infectious fun.

Pete & Randy would've been my final pair, Randy the last one standing.

For Pete's Sake isn't as rich a song as others on the album (Mike's originals in particular), but, c'mon, as the classic TV show closer it's one of the quintessential Monkees tunes. And a Monkees original, at that. For me, it lands above its lyrics, and even those are as good a youthfully idealogical time capsule of the era as many.
