Poll: Todd Rundgren's 'Something/Anything?'... your favourite side?

Probably Todd's most famous album and certainly one of his most loved. But, seeing as he went to the trouble of giving each of the four sides a subtitle, for a bit of fun (since it's all good to great), let's have a vote on which of these sides is your favourite...

 

Side 1 for dem melodies!

 

C: The Kid Gets Heavy. It has Black Maria and Torch Song , so this swayed it for me.

 

Too early for p13 purgatory for this thread so I'll bump it by saying my favourite side is Side 2, which continues the good tunes of Side 1 (well maybe not 'I Went to the Mirror'), with a smattering of the 'weirdness', if you will, that characterises much of the forthcoming A Wizard/A True Star. In fact, I think if you listened to this side and the first side of Wizard back-to-back you wouldn't think that the latter was that weird or the huge stylistic break it's often purported to be.

****. Impossible. Sophie's Choice. It's either 1, 3 or 4 for me.

 

Tough choice. Side 1 is brilliant, but I have to say I have a lot of fun listening to side 4. So...side 4.

 

Side 4, because "Hello, It's Me" is one of the greatest tracks ever recorded.

 

Went with Side Three!

 

Side 3, but as a TR album it's not even top 15 for me.

 

I think they're all pretty uneven, as is the album, but side 1 fares the best with 4 a close second. The last third and the first third are probably the best.
