Same here, but it really clicked for me live on The Who Hits 50 and Moving On tours.

Amazing so many good songs here that qualify. I voted:
I Can't Explain, Anyway ..., Substitute, the Seeker

OK - so I'll revisit my choices -- I didn't actually vote yet, only posted my thoughts -- as I also misunderstood that B-sides were not intended to be included (as it was not originally stated) -- I thought the non-inclusion of B-sides was just a matter of only having a certain number of slots in the poll, and excluding them for that reason.

So --- of the listed songs --- I choose:
    I Can't Explain
    Substitute
    Dogs
    Join Together

I too have some issues with The Seeker. I first heard it in 1982. It was old enough at that point that references to The Beatles and Bob Dylan dated the song a bit too much for me (I also am just barely young enough that I don't remember when The Seeker was new, and by extension I don't remember The Beatles as a working group, or Dylan's initial period up to Blonde on Blonde). That's the only song here for which there are these period references.

Those of you who like Let's See Action should check out Townshend's solo version, if you haven't already done so.

PS - I have now voted

Just one Who fan's opinion but all of the OP's selections as well as other strays like 'Here For More', 'Heaven and Hell', 'When I Was A Boy', 'I Don't Even Know Myself', etc. should be rounded up for a for a deluxe 'Odds and Sods' just so we'd have them all in one place. Hell, even 'Waltz For a Pig' even though it's not them.

    I’m a Boy
    Call Me Lightning
    Dogs
    The Relay

Looks like my favorites are the ones no one else likes! Lol

Honestly not a single bad tune on the list though.

Yes, I could not get around my head the fact that I'm a Boy has about the same number of votes as Happy Jack (It had even less for a while).

Yes, Dogs being one of the least popular ones here fascinates me. HOwever I got used to the fact that people around here do not like Call Me Lightning.

I guess most of it is due to the popularity of the Meaty, Beaty, Big and Bouncy compilation. It had the slow I'm a Boy - and Dogs or Call Me Lightning were not included at all.

It’s catchy, but it has a distinct “throwaway” flavor.

They tried out The Seeker a dozen times in 1970 and a few times in 2000 but, it never sounded right. I’m surprised how good they’ve played it the last few years. Love it.

I think a big part of it is that Pete plays the guitar solo, now. It was a mainstay of the setlists in 2006, 2007 and 2008, as well, but without the guitar solo it just didn't do it for me. Now, it's become one of the highlights of their sets for me - Forest Hills and Wembley Stadium in particular.
