That was a great set of cards. I think I was only ever able to talk my Dad into buying one or two packs.

I have a number of these Hopalong Cassidy cards that belonged to my Dad. From Post Cereal.

I was obsessed with these, and would spend hours collecting them and drawing larger copies of many of them. Other kids in school would sometimes pay me to draw versions of some cards for them too. The one you posted was one of my favorites. Here is another one I particularly loved too, Mustang:

Way Out Wheels cards, these were oversized (more like postcard size). I believe at one point I had a full set, but foolishly traded/sold them to a collector shop for missing Beatles A Hard Day's Night cards.

I had a full set of this version of The Monkees cards too, where the flip-side of the cards made a big puzzle-like poster of the group when they were all arranged together. Same thing happened to those cards too -- traded/sold them for other Beatles cards I was missing from sets. :sigh:

Somebody post some 1968 Planet of the Apes Topps cards. I have them but are an idiot trying to post. Saw the TV series here but post the original or the Inkworks cards from the late 1990s. John M.

I still have about 20 or so of these. Down here they were issued as stickers.
    Same in the U.S. ?

Yes, these were issued as stickers, as were the Baseball Super Freaks I also mentioned. I've only got a couple Odd Rods cards left, I wish i knew what happened to them all, I used to have hundreds.!
