Having gone through our 8 OFFICIAL planets, let's take a look at some of the other significant bodies in our solar system.

    Pluto.

Pluto has a few odd things going on with it. First off, it was kicked out of the planet club a few years back. It's orbit is highly irregular compared to the other planets. It actually bisects the orbital paths of Neptune effectively trading places with it in the order of distances.

It also seems to have this tug of war relationship with it's largest moon Charon. They actually pull on each other.

But don't kick a dwarf planet when it's down. A recent New Horizons visit in 2015 yielded some very interesting features on what was otherwise thought to be an icy, plain rock.

These three photos show glacial plains as well as volcanic activity. Not so dead after all.

Only time will tell if Pluto gets back into the club or not but no one can now say it was a boring piece of rock anymore.

My father saw a 1948 World Series game there when he was still in the Navy, with a large group of sailors.

Old David Letterman joke: "I feel like I've overinflated my tires...". He said that when Bianca Jagger was a guest way back in the 80s :)

In Hee Haw's early years, General Electric PE-250 cameras were used - this was probably the only CBS network show to use them. Very likely these were retrofitted with conversion kits to improve their performance to the level of PE-350's. There was a "look" to these cameras' pictures that differed from RCA's or Norelco's - or the Marconi Mark VII's, for that matter.
