Just added a new rack. I needed to better organize things and this Timbernation rack did the trick. [IMG]

I've never seen black painter's tape. You definitely don't want to use sticky black electrical tape or similar product.

It will be OK, I don't think that painter's tape marking the precise position of your speakers has been deemed one of those audiophile NO-NO's (yet).

More so, I think that it would elicit praise from OCD audiophiles (of which there are many), that you would be concerned enough to precisely mark your speaker positions. And they will give you plenty of "likes" for your doing so.

    OCD audiophile......Uh.....yeah.........

The DW's weight about 55# lbs. each and have carpet spikes! So yes I placed them (without the spikes), marked the location with painters tape, inserted the carpet spikes and set them. Tryin' to use my knoggin and not tear up the carpet.

Well, what color tape are you SUPPOSED to use when painting the carpet?

Please answer promptly; I'm just now loading up the roller.

Picked up an Adcom GTP 400 and a pair of Klipsch KG3' s in the past couple weeks to bookend my McIntosh MC250 for a revised second system in my study. The Adcom sounds great and the tuner seems to be functioning well. The room is pretty bad acoustically, and the KG3's aren't exactly near-field monitors, but my new copy of OK Computer (first one on vinyl), scored amid the recent flurry of Amazon markdowns, sounds better than the album ever has to me as I'm sitting here in the sweet spot. I do a lot of background classical listening while I work out here, and this new setup also does that job really well. I only have the one turntable, so I'm feeding the Adcom with the Tape out on my MA 6200 with a 15 foot RCA cable from the next room.

Love the Adcom! Not often you find a preamp like that with a tuner built in. I used to have an AudioSource Preamp/Tuner Two in my living room system with similar capabilities. Much more work-a-day than your beautiful and great sounding piece.

I think your cat might be a bit too well-fed? He/she looks great though. So, does the audio gear...
