That's my new P6 on the TT shelf. I'm kinda surprised but I think it surpasses my Thorens. The Ania is starting to sound like a better cart than the Bronze in my system.

It’s Yamaha A2080 AVR, Fluance RT85 TT, Cambridge audio solo phono stage, Polk LSiM 705 speakers.

I’m looking to add a 2 or 3 channel amp at the moment. Having a hard time deciding what to get.

Kind of weird...I think A Live One and Bakers Dozen are the only Phish LP’s I don’t own.

ALO was the first vinyl I ever bought. That album changed things for me in a way no other ever has.

You're going to love that P6 Ania when it's all broke in. I've had mine for about 7mo and by far it's the best sounding tt/cart for the money IMHO. How many hours do you have on it so far?

Thanks for the info on the cross over I will check it out for sure. Been trying to find something for these speakers. They do love tubes that's for sure. Friends stop by and can hardly believe I'm only running 30w into them. Playing The Jayhawks - Hollywood Town Hall 180g pressing and the sound is sweet!!

I feel your positive vibes....and I like it! Psssh. Don't tell anyone, but I already love it. Put about 10 hours on it this last two days and I feel like it's softened a bit. The detail is fantastic. Really heard it on my RL copy of Houses of the Holy today.

The amazing thing that I discovered concerning the crossover's, was mostly by accident.

I had my first pair of Altec Lansing A7, Voice of the Theater speaker's built back in 1970, when I was sixteen.

Even at that age, I did not care for the Altec crossover's. They could split the frequencies, but when you went to tune the HF horns with the Bass cabinet, the horn's became muddy, so I never used any HF attenuation.

For over forty years, I only knew SS with the A7's, until I bought the Rogue M-120, tube monoblock's from eBay, back in 2013. That's when I also discovered ALK crossover's, mainly because I did want to keep them 100% analog and not use the typical electronic crossover's that were typically used with them.

What I did find, that while James B. Lansing and Paul W. Klipsch were excellent speaker designer's, the did not understand crossover technology as well as Al Klappenberger from ALK engineering.

The speaker's that JBL and PWK built were even better than either of them realized, they both were being held back in their performance by their crossover's.

ALK Engineering builds crossovers only for legacy Klipsch speaker's. Altec as we knew it, is non existent. So, I used a pair of crossover's that he designed for the La Scala's on my A7's and it was truly an amazing upgrade.

Both legacy Klipsch and Altec's, are far better speaker's than anyone would have realized, including myself.

Over the years, I have moved from a 475-Watt SS amplifier down to a 3.9-Watt tube amplifier and the A7's sound better than I have ever heard them play before.

I think that you will truly be amazed what tubes and upgraded crossover's can do for your Klipsch speaker's.

I'm slightly jealous of that box set. As you can see I have quite a few of the McCartney box sets myself.

I understand that box sold out very quickly.
