here's one on my localish craigslist RARE Antique/Vintage Repro RCA "Nipper" Dog Desk Lamp "vintage repro ha", it's cool anyway
Very cool, too bad it's for pick up only. If any members are around Haworth, NJ could be a nice score.
Regardless of your system or decor, this picture portrays an inviting, comfy, cozy room to relax anyone who comes in.
Really liking the Planar 6. It sounds great! Dig all the upgrade features from my previous P3. Cool paint scheme too!
I love it. For an integrated amp at this price (I paid 399 EUR for it back in 2014) there's not much competition when it comes to the quality of the phono stage. That, to me, was the deciding factor. I even use the tone controls (reluctantly and sparingly) every now and then with certain CD's or records that haven't been mastered optimally, and it surprises me every time how musical they sound. It's sturdy, I love the design and the amp doesn't run hot easily. In terms of price/performance ratio, it's possibly the best value for money I've ever had in my setup. Lovely amp when you're on a budget.
I think im sold! Dang sexy too, imo! I have a mid 90's Rotel now and feel it pairs up nicely with my speakers, but perhaps a tad underpowered.
Thanks! It is an extremely comfortable spot. Turn the fireplace on, dim the lights, throw on some music; perfect for the long (extra long this year...) winter.
My hunt for new stand mount speakers is over. Took me hours last night and this morning, but I finally found the perfect positioning for the Dahlquists. It sounds ridiculously good right now. I'm pretty frigging stoked!. Its going to cost me a whopping 46 dollars from Dahlquist for proper black grill cloth, a lot cheaper than the 2k or so I was going to spend on stand mounts lol. Good times...
Our new home, and my dream movie/music rig!! We have ONE remote, a URC, and not the 73 seen laying on the couch LOL! Shout out to the best wife ever for not only helping design the whole room, but for saying, "SURE you can put your dream rig in our living room!" Acoustic treatments next. For now, the MEN220 is doing a mighty fine job and I am LOVING this. Spent all day yesterday listening to music and watching movies! Thanks so much for letting me share in my excitement
Wow. I'm eyeing those speakers for next year - its going to take 12 months to persuade myself that it is ok to spend that much. How do they sound? As much as anything, aesthetically they are absolutely beautiful.
Beautiful! I've been jealous of you guys with the nice looking rooms. I've no complaints about my main two-channel system, but the room itself has been needing work in the appearance dept. (see my profile) So yesterday, I set plans in motion to start making improvements. I'll be replacing the ugly, old tan carpeting with bamboo flooring, and I'm also going to do some painting--with particular attention paid to the drab grey door that sits behind my stereo. A nice rug or two should also help liven up the space visually speaking.
