Ah ok. Keep in mind you can’t do it from the Flickr App...you have to be logged into your account on Flickr.com in order to get the links to copy/paste here.
Ok, got it! I just finished putting this room together over the past few weeks. It was inspired by my new JBL L100 Classics.
Wow what a stunning room! And I love your chairs and the wallpaper or paint on that column behind your system! Super colorful cool and modern!
Thanks! I still have a few more details etc, but it’s coming along. It’s in the basement, and the acoustics are excellent. The wallpaper is original 1970’s from Germany. Found a home after 5 decades and across the globe.
Nice! I could never do that, as I live in an apartment in NYC - the parquet flooring is glued directly to a concrete slab, which also serves as my downstairs neighbor's ceiling.
Posted my main system on the previous page. Here is the tube system in its latest setup. Moved about a year and a half ago and haven’t posted much since. I made the rack which contains AR table, MX110, MC225. Altecs flank the rack. I also made the vinyl stand.
Very nice second system. I’d like to do something similar once I build out my main rig. How do you like the 2 seats splitting the sweet spot? Do you get nice sound stage and imaging still?
Sweet spots are better when your lovely wife shares them with you . Despite the close proximity, the altec horns and tubes magically make everything okay.
Nice set up. I have an MS23B myself, thought with the LesBox mod. I highly recommend the mod, it takes it to a whole different level. One of the best upgrades, maybe the best, that I’ve done so far for my system.
Fully agree. Once I have a more dedicated area I would like to have two seats in the sweet spot. Music is better when shared
Now that is a system I would love to hear. Nicely done! It is so wildly different from my solid state power hungry speakers, I would love to hear the difference.
Thanks, yep I'd love to have a go at the "Lesbox mod" I've heard it's the way to go, but it's a little bit daunting, I've read thru the procedure and it kind of scared me off having a go
Yeh they're a great breed, they're not for every household but if you can handle their attitude you'll have a friend for life
